Kasparian Scholarship winners

Every year the Springfield Education Association awards five $1,000 scholarships in the name of Meline Kasparian, former SEA and MTA President. Meline, forever the champion of encouraging people to reach beyond their grasp, would be immensely pleased about the choice of recipients the 2006 year.

2006 Meline Kasparian Scholarship Winners

Kinshasa Fowlkes graduated this year from The High School of Commerce.
She will be attending George Washington University majoring in
International Relations.

Shaylyn Kelly graduated this year from Cathedral High School. She will
attend Saint Anselm College with a major in English.

Geri-Ann Quinlivan graduated from Cathedral High School this year. This
fall she will attend Northeastern University majoring in Architecture.

Maria Slowinski graduated from Cathedral High School this year. She
will be attending Worcester State College with a major in Biology.

Han-Ran Tsai graduated from Amherst High School this year. He will be
attending Amherst College this fall as a Pre-Law student majoring in
Political Science
