Dear Representative or Senator :

If there is one group of people in Springfield who share absolutely no responsibility for the current crisis in Springfield, it's the children of the Springfield Public Schools. These children are paying a dreadful price for the misdeeds of the previous city administration and will continue to pay that price as long as the Legislative leadership refuses to act.

Superior Court Judge Bostford's recommendations that were accepted by the State Superior Judicial Court as fact clearly indicate the Springfield Public School System is not receiving the revenue necessary for our children to compete in Massachusetts, let alone this global economy.

Please read Judge Bostford's findings and find a way to send the Springfield Public School System the resources required to rectify the gross inequities embodied in Judge Bostford's findings. Also, I ask that you insure Governor Romney's Finance Control Board spends that money appropriately. The citizens and parents of Springfield need some checks and balances to stop any further illegal action on the part of Governor Romney's Finance Control Board.
