Send a message to your state legislators: "I urge you to oppose any effort by the governor and Secretary of Administration and Finance Eric Kriss to expand the power of the Finance Control Board or curtail the collective bargaining rights of Springfield’s unions."

April 7 - 13: Send postcards to Travaglini and DiMasi; return to the SEA office by Monday, April 10, 2006 for free postage.
April 26: MTA Lobby Day in Boston and Virtual Lobby Day throughout the Commonwealth - call state representatives and senators to ask for binging arbitration for Springfield teachers and support for MTA-supported bill for increased Chapter 70 funds.
April 27: Executive Board Meeting Member Speak-Out at Forest Park Middle School 4:00 P.M. The first forty minutes of the Executive Board meeting will be set aside for the speak out.
May 18: Executive Board Meeting Member Speak-Out at Mary Lynch school 4:00 P.M. The first forty minutes of the Executive Board meeting will be set aside for the speak out.
June 15: Executive Board Meeting Member Speak-Out at Central High School 4:00 P.M. The first forty minutes of the Executive Board meeting will be set aside for the speak out.
