Spam filtering information
Many Internet Service Providers (ISPs, such as AOL, Comcast or Earthlink) add screens and filters intended to block out spam (unwanted e-mail messages). You may need to take steps to ensure delivery of SEA's e-mail newsletters.

Hotmail: Place the domain netatlantic.com in your "safe" list. (Netatlantic  is the company that hosts our e-mail list.) The safe list can be accessed via the "Options" link  next to the main menu tabs.

AOL: Place the address "contact@seateachers.com" in your address book.

Yahoo! Mail: If SEA e-mail is filtered to your "bulk" folder, open the message and click on the "this is not Spam" link next to the "From" field.

Other providers and filtering programs: If the newsletter is being filtered, try adding the domain "netatlantic.com" to your address book or contact list. (Netatlantic is the company that hosts our e-mail list.) If this option is not available, try moving the message to your inbox or forwarding the message to yourself.

If subsequent messages continue to be filtered, call or e-mail your ISP's tech support and specifically ask how you can  be sure to receive all e-mail from netatlantic.com. Follow  their instructions for "whitelisting" netatlantic.com.

Your e-mail software itself may also mistake SEA e-mail for junk e-mail. To add SEA to your Safe Senders List in Microsoft Outlook:

1. Locate the SEA e-mail message in your Junk E-mail folder.
2. Right-click on the message.
3. Point to Junk E-mail, and click "Add Sender to Safe Senders List".

If you use a free e-mail service, such as Hotmail or Yahoo! be sure to delete old messages regularly. New e-mail will not be delivered to a full e-mail box.
