Non-Core Teacher Leader & Instructional Leadership Positions
The superintendent is now considering the possibility of having non-core teachers eligible for Teacher Leader and Instructional Leadership Specialists positions. This would require further negotiations and a different way to determine student growth since there is no standard testing in Art, Music, Theater, Dance, PE, Health, Technology/Engineering, Foreign Language, ETL, Home/Careers, Counselors, Librarians, Mediators, Speech/Vision, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy. A committee is being formed to develop a system for each discipline.
