Congratulations Dr. Audrey Murph Brown!
Dr. Audrey Murph-Brown received the Dissertation of Excellence Award for her dissertation titled "Resiliency of Multiple-Placed Foster Youth Experiencing Emotional Competence: A Mixed Methods Study." Her dissertation was one of twelve that was selected to receive the award out of 615 international dissertations that was submitted.
Currently Dr. Murph-Brown is a school social worker and adjunct professor. She is also an organizer for Red for Ed- campaign in MA organizing ethnic educators to stand up to power that attempt to oppress and silence the voices of black and brown educators.
Her goal is to continue her research exploring the resilient pathways of youth whose lives are impacted by adverse conditions and developing interventions that embed the voice of the youth.
