To join the SEA, complete the application using the link below (your local association name is "SEA," Bargaining Unit is "A" and employer is "SPS"). Be sure to sign in BOTH places on the form. You can print, scan, or screenshot the application and email to contact@seateachers.com  You can also send a hard copy to  SEA 480 Cottage Street, Springfield, MA 01104.

  • Member Dues

    Your dues are used to support the work of our union.  This includes bargaining a fair contract, legal representation, fighting for the schools our students deserve, supporting your Professional Development needs, and giving scholarships to students. 

  • NEA/MTA/SEA Dues

    Your  2025-2026 dues are split between the SEA, MTA and the NEA. The money is divided this way:

    NEA $219.00

    MTA $573.00

    SEA  $295.00

  • How do I pay my dues?

    Your dues are automatically deducted from your paycheck.  If you do not see a deduction line on your paycheck call or email us immediately and we will check into the situation.
