With the legislature having finalized the state budget, we can now see how the first billion dollars from the Fair Share Amendment is being spent! Please take a moment to look through the attached document to see how it is all being broken down.

Monday, August 7th, 8-10am Northampton Starbucks, 303 King Street Starbucks Workers United is holding a nationwide day of action for customers and community allies to adopt not yet unionized stores to leaflet outside of. The WMALF is adopting the Northampton store. Sign up here to join. 

Tuesday, August 8th, 5:30-6:30pm Park Square in Pittsfield. BVNA Clinician Standout. Join BVNA clinicians for a standout after their next negotiation session. Refreshments will be offered. (See attached flyer for more details)

Saturday, August 19th, noon-1pm Student Debt Cancellation Rally, US Courthouse, 300 State Street, Springfield We are holding another student debt rally on Saturday August 19th on the steps of the Springfield Courthouse. Please RSVP at this Action Network event invite. Additionally, we are currently conducting an organizing survey on the impact of student debt on WMALF union members. Please fill out the survey here (it should take no more than 10 minutes) and share the survey link with your union members, to help us begin to calculate the amount of student debt that WMALF members hold collectively.

WMALF Labor Day Weekend Picnic, Sunday, September 3rd, 2-5pm Nonotuck Park, Easthampton Join the Western Mass Area Labor Federation for a Labor Day celebration and picnic - music, games, and food for the whole family!
